Hoarding: Buried Alive

I spent four years (2010 - 2014) mixing for Hoarding: Buried Alive on TLC and have stories for days. With so many clips available on YouTube, and because some may choose to skip these clips when viewing my portfolio, I have compiled them together separately here.

This show was produced before multitrack audio recording was commonplace. This production relied on the master audio being recorded by the camera along with the video onto digital video tape. Every bit of audio was mixed on the fly, sent wireless to the cameras (while competing with onboard UHF video transmitters) and recorded to two channels of camera audio. Resorting to multitrack audio files to fix a mix in post was not an option.
